I awakened this morning with a deep inward understanding of the total importance of teaching biblically sound doctrine. Without going into a lot of detail, I experienced a very dark time of personal testing a fight which was both spiritual and physical at the same time. As a called out vessel this battle left me wondering how I could lead God’s people if I failed my personal fight of faith in those hours of darkness.
Here’s where I had to learn what was hiding deep within my human fleshly state. The Spirit of God already knew what was hidden all He desire is for me to see it clearly before He “God” placed me where He wanted me to be as a sound minded biblical teacher of His manifest Word. Was it easy? No. But the Holy Ghost was always right there with me in the very mist of my battle. It took three to four days for me to overcome what I can call nor other than the “Dark Night of the Soul.”
Going through this time of spiritual battle showed me many things which I didn’t even know was hidden within my flesh. The Lord God revealed these things by allowing me to go through them so I might be a biblical sound instructor of His manifest holy Word give to humanity. Today I’ve got a deeper respect for God’s manifest Word and the fact it provides everything needed for godliness in Jesus Christ. As the Word of God states in Titus (Chapter 2:1-2). But you must teach what agrees with sound doctrine. Instruct the older men to be sober, sensible, and self-controlled; to be sound in their faith, love and endurance.
It also extends to the older women as well concerning their personal conduct outside of the fellow of believers as well as in the public around nonbelievers. We read the following within the pages of scripture Titus (Chapter 2:3-5). In the same way instruct the older women to behave as women should who live a holy life. They must not be slanderers or slaves to wine. They must teach what is good, in order to train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, and to be good housewives who submit themselves to their husbands, so that no one will speak evil of the message that comes from God.
The Spirit of God has allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the problem the local church is having today here in the Western Hemisphere. Truly sound Biblical doctrine has been placed aside for fleshly personal compromise. This hellish problem is being led by those who’re not truly called out vessels of the Lord God. Truly sound Biblical doctrine will always lead both the saved and unsaved to true personal repentance. Holiness will also be the result of a true confession of faith in Jesus Christ as both Lord and Savior.
This mean the individual will no longer be comfortable living a continual lifestyle of willful sin (wrongdoings) in the presence of the Lord God. Sin will make the true born-again child of God feel really bad until he/she repents of all known sin. See 1 John 1:9 for farther reference.
The Ture Spirit and the False Spirit
Don’t allow yourself to be led by your old nature when sin is present in your own life or that of others. No, depend upon the manifest Word of God for direction always concerning the matter of sin. After all those who’re truly born from above will not continue on living in a daily lifestyle of sinful rebellion against the revealed will of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s look into the scripture to see why this is true. Why? Simply due to the fact this is sound Biblical doctrine.
The Word of God instructs us concerning how we’re to know the Spirit of God from the spirit of error. All you and I need to do is submit to the Biblical instruction given within the pages of the Bible. We’re not to depend on our flesh at all concerning this very important matter of decrement. The Manifest Word of God is our compass always concerning this very important truth. Once again let’s see what the Word of God has to reveal.
But you belong to God, my children, and have defeated the false prophets, because the Spirit who is in you is more powerful than the spirit in those who belong to the world. Those false prophets speak about matters of the world, and the world listens to them because they belong to the world. But we belong to God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever does not belong to God does not listen to us. This, then, is how we can tell the difference between the Spirit of truth and the spirit error (1 John 4:4-6).
As you leave the reading of this message I want to encourage you to become a true student of the Word of God. By doing so you’ll learn how to truly decern the manifest will of the Spirit of God in every area of your life. I had to personal go through a fight of faith to reach where the Spirit of God desired me to be a called vessel. You too can receive what the Spirit of God desires for you as well.
