No Fellowship With Willful Sin
To those who are truly living under the Kingdom rulership of the Holy Spirit, you know whom you have believed. You have placed your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ—not merely as Savior, but as Lord and Master of your life.
There comes a point in every believer’s walk when we must settle the question of who is truly ruling our lives.
The apostle Paul declared:
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
— Romans 8:14
Being led by the Spirit means that we cannot continually make room for what God has commanded us to forsake. We cannot confess Christ with our mouths while deliberately maintaining a lifestyle of rebellion against His Word.
The Word of God gives us a sobering warning:
“And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”
— 1 John 3:3
Those who genuinely belong to Christ should desire holiness, righteousness, obedience, and separation from the works of darkness.
We Must Not Make Peace With Willful Sin
There is a difference between a believer who stumbles, repents, and seeks restoration—and someone who knowingly chooses to continue walking in sin while claiming the name of Jesus Christ.
Scripture says:
“For sin shall not have dominion over you.”
— Romans 6:14
And again:
“Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid.”
— Romans 6:1–2
Grace is not permission to rebel against God. Grace teaches us to turn away from ungodliness and to live differently.
“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly.”
— Titus 2:11–12
Therefore, those of us who are committed and submitted to the will of Almighty God must be extremely careful about what we tolerate—not only within ourselves, but also among those who identify themselves as children of God.
Do Not Fellowship With the Works of Darkness
The apostle Paul gave the Church a direct command:
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”
— Ephesians 5:11
This does not mean that we become self-righteous, hateful, or condemning toward people. We are called to love people and speak the truth in love.
But biblical love does not celebrate what God calls sin.
Biblical love warns.
Biblical love corrects.
Biblical love calls people to repentance.
Biblical love refuses to participate in darkness.
Jesus said:
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
— John 14:15
Therefore, our love for Christ must be demonstrated through obedience.
Do Not Be Deceived
Global Church, do not allow familiarity, relationships, popularity, titles, positions, or emotions to override the Word of God.
The Scriptures warn:
“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:33
We must exercise spiritual discernment concerning the people we allow to influence our lives.
Not everyone who says “Lord, Lord” is necessarily walking in submission to the Lord.
Jesus Himself warned:
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
— Matthew 7:21
The question is not simply, “What do you call yourself?”
The question is:
Are you surrendered to Jesus Christ?
Are you obeying His Word?
Are you being led by the Holy Spirit?
Is the fruit of your life consistent with your confession of faith?
Jesus said:
“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
— Matthew 7:20
We Cannot Walk in Two Kingdoms
The believer cannot continually attempt to live under the authority of Christ while simultaneously submitting to the authority of the sinful nature.
Paul wrote:
“For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh.”
— Galatians 5:17
The Holy Spirit will lead us toward holiness. The flesh will continually seek to pull us toward rebellion.
That is why the believer must surrender daily.
“And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.”
— Galatians 5:24
This is not a call to perfection through human strength. It is a call to genuine surrender to God.
When we fall, we repent.
When we are corrected, we receive correction.
When the Holy Spirit convicts us, we respond.
When God’s Word exposes something in us that does not belong, we don’t defend it—we surrender it.
A Warning to the Global Body of Christ
Church, we must stop making excuses for what God has instructed us to repent of.
We must stop calling compromise “grace.”
We must stop calling rebellion “freedom.”
We must stop calling disobedience “walking in our truth.”
We must stop allowing the standards of a dark world system to redefine biblical holiness.
The apostle Peter commanded:
“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation.”
— 1 Peter 1:15
And Scripture declares:
“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”
— Hebrews 12:14
This is a serious hour for the Body of Christ.
The world does not need a Church that merely claims to know Jesus.
The world needs a Church that knows Jesus, obeys Jesus, represents Jesus, and walks according to the Holy Spirit.
Examine Yourselves
Before we point our fingers at someone else, Scripture commands us to examine ourselves.
“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves.”
— 2 Corinthians 13:5
Ask yourself:
Am I truly surrendered to Jesus Christ?
Have I given the Holy Spirit permission to correct me?
Am I knowingly protecting sin in my life?
Have I become comfortable with something God has commanded me to leave behind?
Are the people closest to me strengthening my walk with Christ—or pulling me away from Him?
These are not questions designed to condemn us.
They are questions designed to bring us back into alignment.
“Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts.”
— Psalm 139:23
The Call Is to Repentance
If you recognize willful sin in your life, do not run from God—run toward Him.
Repent.
Turn around.
Submit yourself again to the Lord.
The promise of Scripture remains:
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
— 1 John 1:9
The Lord is not looking for people who pretend they have never fallen.
He is looking for people who are willing to humble themselves, repent, and walk with Him.
“God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”
— James 4:6
Therefore:
Global Body of Christ, WAKE UP.
Examine yourselves.
Guard your hearts.
Guard your homes.
Guard your fellowship.
Guard the doctrine being received.
Test everything by the Word of God.
And above all, remain surrendered to the Holy Spirit.
“Quench not the Spirit.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:19
We who belong to Christ must not willingly participate in darkness simply because darkness has become culturally acceptable.
Our allegiance is not to the culture.
Our allegiance is not to popularity.
Our allegiance is not to people.
Our allegiance is to Jesus Christ.
He is Lord.
He is Savior.
He is King.
And those who truly belong to Him must be willing to follow Him—even when obedience requires separation from everything that contradicts His Word.
“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.”
— Isaiah 1:19
May the Holy Spirit search the Church, expose every work of darkness, bring genuine repentance, restore holiness, strengthen the faithful, and prepare the Bride of Christ for the coming of her King.
