Don’t you dare accept everything you hear just because it’s spoken with confidence.
Not every voice that quotes scripture is speaking truth. Not every smooth word is a safe word. We are commanded — commanded — to test what we hear against the Word of God itself. “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” — 1 John 4:1
Try it. Weigh it. Hold it up against the manifest Word and see if it stands.Because beloved, we are not living in ordinary days. We are living in days of deception unlike anything before — deception so sophisticated it wears the language of faith, the appearance of light, the sound of righteousness.”For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” — 2 Corinthians 11:13-14This is why watching and praying is not optional. It is survival. “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” — Luke 21:36Do not walk through this hour half-asleep. Do not let comfort lull you into carelessness.
Because right now — TODAY — there is a roaring enemy on the prowl, and he is not looking for the strong. He is looking for the distracted. The isolated. The unwatchful.”Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” — 1 Peter 5:8So stand, beloved. Stand with your eyes open and your spirit alert. Test everything.
Pray without ceasing. And let nothing — no voice, no trend, no charismatic personality — replace your discernment of the true, manifest Word of God.”Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7This is not a day for spiritual sleep.
