There is a place in God where the noise of humanity no longer has authority over the soul. A place where the heart becomes so fully yielded, so fully surrendered, that the shifting opinions of men cannot penetrate the inner chamber of divine peace. I have come to understand this not as theory, but as lived reality. There are moments in this walk where the Lord strips away every reliance, every false sense of strength, every emotional dependency on what people say or do, until only His voice remains steady within the temple of the heart.
In that sacred stripping, I discovered something eternal: a truly called-out vessel cannot be easily sidetracked by human foolishness. Not because of personal strength, but because of divine indwelling. It is the Spirit of God Himself who anchors the believer beyond the reach of manipulation, distraction, and spiritual confusion. The Word confirms this truth in 1 Corinthians 6:19 (KJV), “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” This is not poetic language alone—it is spiritual identity. Ownership has changed. Governance has changed. Direction has changed.
There was a time when I could be moved easily by what people said about me, by how others behaved, or by the weight of misunderstanding. But the deeper I have walked with Christ, the more He has taught me that His Spirit dwelling within is not fragile, nor is it reactive to fleshly environments. Instead, it is steady, sovereign, and unshakable. As it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV), “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” A sound mind does not mean a mind untouched by challenge, but a mind ruled by a higher Kingdom order.
I no longer depend upon humanity as the source of my stability in this present darkened age. This is not bitterness—it is revelation. It is the realization that human strength was never designed to carry divine weight. Only the Spirit of God dwelling in His temple can sustain the calling placed upon that temple. That is why the Scripture declares in Galatians 5:16 (KJV), “Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” To walk in the Spirit is to move beyond reaction and into divine direction.
And yet, even as I speak from this place of separation unto God, I am not disconnected from compassion. If anything, the deeper I go in Him, the more I am aware of the souls around me who are still entangled in the noise of this world. The Lord has shown me that many are still being moved by every word spoken about them, every gesture of rejection, every misunderstanding that arises between people. But this is not the inheritance of the Kingdom. The Kingdom is inwardly established. As it is written in Luke 17:21 (KJV), “For, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
So I speak now, not only as one walking this path, but as one urging others into it: every truly born-again child of God must learn to yield to divine Kingdom rulership within themselves. This is not self-rule—it is Spirit-rule. It is the surrender of the inner man to the government of Christ. When the Spirit governs the heart, the believer is no longer easily derailed by offense, nor entangled in the petty wars of human pride.
There is a refining that takes place in this surrender. God begins to teach the believer how to respond instead of react, how to pray instead of speak rashly, how to discern instead of assume. This is the transformation spoken of in Romans 12:2 (KJV), “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” The renewal of the mind is not a moment—it is a continual yielding, a daily return to divine order.
I have found that when Christ truly takes His rightful place within, silence becomes holy, discernment becomes sharper, and peace becomes the governing force even in the midst of chaos. This is what it means to be seated in spiritual stability. As written in Colossians 3:3 (KJV), “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” Hidden life is protected life. Hidden life is governed life. Hidden life is untouchable by the chaos of flesh-driven environments.
So I encourage every believer reading this: do not underestimate what it means to be indwelt by the Spirit of God. You are not ordinary. You are not ungoverned. You are not abandoned to human systems or emotional instability. You are a temple carrying divine presence. And that presence is calling you higher—above reaction, above offense, above confusion—into the steady government of Christ within.
Let your walk reflect this reality. Let your thoughts be anchored in it. Let your speech be refined by it. For the Lord is not only shaping what you do outwardly, but establishing His throne inwardly. And where His throne is established, nothing of this world can ultimately overthrow what He has built within you.
