As you and I continue through this present sphere of life we each experience an array of ups and downs which can have either a positive impact or negative reaction upon our life. But still we must press forward with life always learning from the past experiences of life. The question set before each of us, though, is how should we proceed through this present sphere of life successfully? Many of us set out on a race to gain popularity in our chosen fields of study after school, but we put off a personal relationship with the true source of all things created – Jesus Christ, the eternal God man come in the form of flesh.
Christian Endeavor seeks to reunited us with the very source of life which give each of us our spiritual form here within this present sphere of life. We can do this many different ways as we pass through this present dark sphere of life. How? Simply put, we should revisit where we are right now here in this present life.
This means getting back to the very basics of what life is truly about as created being made in the very image of the Creator, God. Apart from developing a true understand of the divine source the happiness we seek now will only be lived for the short term here within this present sphere of life. The fact is there are so many right now who’ve got everything yet they’re still unhappy. Just look at what’s happening in this present dark world system. It promises joy and success, but leave you with swallow, pain and lossless with no amount of true inward fulfilment.
True Fulfillment Begins in God
True fulfillment does not begin with money, status, relationships, popularity, possessions, or worldly success. True fulfillment begins when a person is rightly connected to the Lord God through Jesus Christ and begins to live according to His will.
The Word of God makes it clear that mankind was created for God’s purpose, not merely for personal pleasure. Ecclesiastes 12:13 says, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
Many people search for fulfillment in the things of this world, but the world can never satisfy the soul. Jesus said in John 4:14, “But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst…” This shows us that the deepest thirst of the human spirit can only be satisfied by Christ.
True fulfillment starts with surrender. It begins when we stop living for ourselves and begin living for the Lord. Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
A person may have everything outwardly and still be empty inwardly. But when Christ becomes the center of your life, your heart begins to find peace, purpose, direction, and eternal meaning.
Psalm 16:11 declares, “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy…”
So where does true fulfillment really start? It starts in the presence of God. It starts with repentance, faith, obedience, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Anything outside of Him will leave the soul searching, but life in Him brings true and lasting satisfaction.
